I recently stayed at Alfie's House while traveling through Lincoln and was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of its location. The nearest airport was only 9 km away, making it incredibly easy to reach the accommodation after a long journey. As a transit traveler, this was a huge advantage for me as I wanted a quick and hassle-free stay.
If I were to nitpick, I would say that one minor inconvenience was that the database did not mention the availability of serving dishes. As a person who prefers to eat in, I would have liked to know in advance that I needed to bring my own serving ware.

The beds were so comfy, and the shower was mind-blowing. The location was perfect, with shops and pubs nearby, as well as beautiful walks. We were amazed by the little touches, like hot water bottles and fresh towels, and the host couldn't have been more helpful. We can't wait to come back and explore the area further. Such an amazing experience!

Free WiFi, perfect for scrolling through memes all day. Garden for those who enjoy pretending to be Alice in Wonderland. Fully equipped kitchen, for when you feel like pretending to be Nigella…even though you’re really just ordering takeout.
Who needs a garden when there's Netflix?

During my recent travel to Lincoln, I stayed at Alfie's House and I must say that it was the perfect choice for a transit stay. The convenient location of the hotel, being just 9 km away from the nearest airport, made it incredibly easy for me to catch my early morning flight without any hassle. The proximity to the airport saved me both time and money, ensuring a stress-free journey. to this, the staff at Alfie's House were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
While Alfie's House provided a comfortable stay overall, I must mention that the facilities on site were a letdown. On my arrival, I found the reception closed, causing a delay of 30 minutes before I could check-in.

The room at Alfie's House was like a cozy cabin in the woods. With a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, and comfy seating area, it felt like a home away from home. The flat-screen TV and private bathroom were nice touches too.
For me, the only downside was the limited space in the living room. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might still find it cozy.

The host was extremely friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. They even provided thoughtful touches like hot water bottles and fresh milk. The location of the hotel was perfect, offering beautiful riverbank walks and opportunities for birdspotting. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to aviation-based activities was a major advantage. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and the staff's exceptional service.
Can't fault the property in any way.
